GRAND Master Brekou Bayou Charles
The Owner
Grand Master Charles has been studying Taekwondo since 1975. He began his training in his native country of Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa, receiving his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1981. He has been an Olympic Participant, Best Olympic Coach, a World Champion and National Champion of Cote d’Iviore multiple times where he served as captain of the National Team from 1986-1993. During this time, Master Bayou received his 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Degree Black Belts. In 1995, he became the National Team Coach. In 2014, he passed his Black Belt 6th Dan Certificate .
His Achievements
Master Bayou coached the team to fourth place overall in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, and was ranked the top coach of Africa. Master Bayou joined Harlem Taekwondo in March 2005, where he contributed to the growth of these student by teaching them some impressive self-defense technique that he developed during the course of his career. In 2007, he joined Remarck Sport Taekwondo in Alexandria, Virginia and worked with Master Patrice Remark to establish one of the most competitive sparring class in the DC metro area.
His skills
Master Charles provides private Taekwondo lessons, seminars and teaches sparring and form classes. He also has an extensive knowledge of Physical Massage Therapy and Sport Massage, which makes a great plus for CBS Taekwondo.
